Year 7 Catch Up Funding

The literacy and numeracy catch-up premium gives schools additional funding to support year 7 pupils who did not achieve the expected standard in reading or maths at the end of key stage 2 (KS2).

Year 7 Catch Up Funding 2016 – 2017

We anticipate receiving £4000 and intend to fund the following:

  • English Interventions with Sally Tonge, a musician/storyteller
  • CPD for all staff – Mastery across the curriculum
  • Cross Curricular trips during Literature Through The Arts Week
  • Subject Coordinator release for moderation across different Local Authorities

Year 7 Catch Up Funding 2015 – 2016

We received £5,500 and spent it on:

  • CPD for teachers – Phonics International
  • CPD for teachers – Numicon
