Supply Teaching Assistants (Grade 3)
Tettenhall Wood School provides education for over 100 pupils with severe/complex learning difficulties, who also have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Attainment levels range from pupils working within P Scales up to age related expectations at the end of Year 4 of the National Curriculum. Pupils attend school from throughout the City and are age 5-19.
Tettenhall Wood School benefits from a dedicated and vibrant staff team in purpose built accommodation and teaching facilities.
We are looking to appoint a number of Supply Teaching Assistants. The successful candidates will demonstrate commitment to:
- continuously raising standards for our pupils and improving their outcomes and life chances;
- being creative, proactive, resourceful, energetic and very well organised;
- working within a caring and safe environment and reflecting the school's priority of placing pupils at the heart of all it does;
- developing their own professional development to ensure they have up to date knowledge, skills and understanding in teaching pupils with severe/complex learning difficulties and ASD.
